Written by: Exodus Youth | December 11th, 2007Most people know somebody who identifies as gay or struggles with same-sex attractions (SSA). Sometimes, it’s someone you really care about, like a friend or family member. That’s when the issue can get really tough for a Christian. Like many, you may feel like you’re being forced to choose between loving and accepting that person, or upholding what the Bible says.
Are those really two different things? How do you respond to loved ones who are involved in homosexuality? Should you? How do you support a friend who’s looking for a way out?
Exodus Youth exists to help you find the answers to your questions, and to respond the way Jesus would–with truth and love.
Here we provide some first steps in that direction. Read through some of our posts and get educated about the issues surrounding homosexuality. It helps to better understand those personally affected by SSA, to be familiar with what the Bible really says about gender and sexuality, and to know God’s plan of redemption for a world filled with people who have fallen in one way or another.
We hope this site will be an encouragement and an inspiration to you. Your world is filled with people who need the light of Christ in their lives. Hopefully, we can help you to deliver that light a little clearer to someone close to you.
