Written by: Exodus Youth | December 11th, 2007The Day of Truth was established by the Alliance Defense Fund in order to counter the homosexual agenda in schools and present an alternative viewpoint from a Christian perspective.
In the past, students who have attempted to speak up against the promotion of homosexuality have been censored or, in some cases, punished for their beliefs. It’s important for students to stand up for their First Amendment right to hear and speak the truth about human sexuality in order to protect that freedom and preserve that truth for future generations.
Exodus Youth participates in the Day of Truth because we know that misinformation about homosexuality is rampant in the school system, and that teens with different views are often labeled and intimidated into silence. The Day of Truth is a great way to equip young Christians to speak the truth in love according to Ephesians 4:15, and make an impact on the next generation.
