It has become obvious to me that what the Christian community has been doing has not been working. I have a son who I know has toyed with the idea of being "Bi". He denies being gay, but his "friends" tease him that he is because he is soft, loving, a good listener and hates all kinds of sports. I also have a niece who was raised christian and my brother (her father) is a pastor. She is in a commited relationship and with her partner have had a son (insemination). In addition my cousin (age 49) in a commited relationsip just died in his sleep last week. I imagine he figured he would make it right with God "some day", and just never woke up.
